During the 1980's, a group of Russian scientists developed a program
to support the physical preparation of cosmonauts and also improve the
preparation of top athletes, particularly in disciplines demanding much
strength (gymnastics, ice hockey).
The results with BMS were so spectacular, that its use was generalised
to almost all athletic disciplines. Moreover, ballet dancers and post
operation medicine also introduced BMS in their usual practise.
At the beginning of 1990, Prof. Nasarov, a former top gymnast and one
of the founders of the BMS concept, introduced his system in Germany.
Rapidly trainers and sport medical doctors realised that BMS, selective
use would considerably reduce rehabilitation and recuperation time among
injured athletes. Today, over 300 medical practises in the medical and
sport fields are using BMS.
Crossbeam Group integrated most recent research results in the BMS-XB
1 machine, which is made in Switzerland.
